EXPENSES & ALLOWANCES FOR MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT

I have been the Member of Parliament for Hereford since 1997 and during that time consider that I have acted properly in all my expenditure transactions. I was born, bred and continue to live in Hereford making appropriate travel claims to allow me to spend time both in the constituency and Westminster representing the electorate who have championed me this twelve years.

I have always stated that my London residence is my second home. I have not featured, other than in passing, in the recent Daily Telegraph publications and firmly believe that transparency is now key if MPs such as myself are to maintain the support of the people who voted for them in the first place.
